At the 2014 Beijing Motor Show, Dongfeng Honda Automobile Co., Ltd., Honda's automobile production and sales joint venture company in China, today unveiled a concept model for the all-new Spirior. Since it was first introduced in 2009, the Spirior has been providing the joy of driving with its advanced technologies and has been well received primarily by younger customers in urban areas who pursue individuality.

Designed to preview the next-generation model, the concept is slightly conservative but features a number of aggressive styling tweaks including a sporty front bumper, aerodynamic side skirts and a mesh grille insert. The sedan also has LED headlights, black accents and attractive alloy wheels.

Little else is known about the car but Honda says the production model will be introduced later this year and will have "significant advancements in exterior design, dynamic performance and technologies as well as safety features." The company went on to say the production model will be "fun-to-drive" and will attempt to set a new benchmark in the "sporty sedan category."
